Alice Palmer is currently part of an exhibition about the history of lace at
The Dick Institute in Kilmarnock, Scotland which runs until 7th September 2013. The exhibition focuses on the Legacy of Lace that has been created by
MYB Textiles which is now the only producer in the world manufacturing with
original Nottingham Lace Looms, some of them over 90 years old. This manufacturing process is extremely labour intensive
using traditional skills and processes which are passed on from
generation to generation through MYB’s apprenticeships.
